We are so excited and honored to welcome Dr. Jeremiah Stugrill to our practice!
Dr. Sturgill knew he wanted to be an orthodontist since he was a teenager, especially after seeing how much his smile was changed with braces. Determination, passion, and the support of his family allowed him to achieve his dream. Dr. Sturgill’s patients all appreciate his zany sense of humor, professionalism, and thorough communication.
Dr. Sturgill grew up in southwestern Virginia, in the small town of Big Stone Gap. He then attended King University where he met his wife, Riley. Also a dentist, she is continuing her training in endodontics as a resident at Virginia Commonwealth University. Together they have continuously served others through dental and medical mission trips that have taken them from the thatch roofed villages of Uganda, to the waters of the Amazon River, and even to the northern inhabited regions of the Arctic Circle.
Beyond dentistry Dr. Sturgill and his wife enjoy taking their goofy golden retriever “Keeper” out and about in Richmond. Also during his free time, Dr. Sturgill enjoys camping, snow skiing, and CrossFit. He is typically up for anything fun or exciting—he even went skydiving recently!
